Weekly Writing Practice at Studio #9, Morgan Block Bldg., 1000 Harris, Room #9, Old Fairhaven, Bellingham, Washington
This weekly writing group meets every Tuesday at 1 P.M. We write using short sentences, chaining, long sentence release, and dialogue. We begin writing and keep writing, ignoring monkey mind's negative narrative. This method develops the voice, generates story, and free the mind to venture into unexplored territory. Please bring a notebook and pen and come a few minutes early to make a cup of tea. Cost: $15/month or $5/drop-in.

Wild Mind Writing
This six week class takes place at Whatcom Community College, 6:30-8:30 Wedsday evenings, beginning Feburary 3rd. We will learn how to free the mind through writing practice and explore structures that will help us form the free-writes into finished pieces. Writing Marathon
When: To be arranged.
Time: 12 pm to 5 pm
Price: $40
This extended writing practice is meant to bring us all more deeply into the writing--both our words and our voices and our stories. As Natalie Goldberg says: "Go for the jugular." And that is what we will do as we write and read. Silence will be held between each timed section. Bring potluck dish. We'll discuss our writing afterwards,as we eat.
