Nancy Canyon would like to announce her recent graduation from Rainier Writing Workshop, with a MFA in Creative Writing from Pacific Lutheran University. Her thesis "Celia's Heaven", is her third novel.

Nancy's poem "Dreaming Under a Big Sky" is a recent winter of the 2007 Sue C. Boynton Poetry Contest and the Walk Award. Winning poems will be displayed on the buses and on placards locally in Bellingham.
