A Virtual Class presented by Chuckanut Writers
January and the days are darker, and hopefully you are getting out when the sun shines. My husband and I just returned from Winthrop where we skied for four days. Though the snow was thin, we had fun despite slick conditions and multiple falls. We laughed and enjoyed the scenery. We ate well, tired ourselves out, and slept well. Now back to work!
Shorter days are great for creating: writing, painting, collaging, and journaling. If you are interested in learning Wild Mind Writing, fast writing that generates powerful story, sign up at Chuckanut Writers. My virtual class, Wild Mind Writing, starts January 16 from 6-8pm and goes through the first week of February. All levels are invited.
I write all my books using the Wild Mind Writing method–Celia’s Heaven, Saltwater, Women’s Bodies Women’s Words–all available at Village Books. Also, forthcoming in April: STRUCK: A Season on a Fire Lookout, from Sidekick Press. I learned the Wild Mind Writing method from Natalie Goldberg in 1997 in Taos, New Mexico–write fast, don’t edit, don’t judge your mind. It is fun and will change your writing, bringing a freshness and power to it that will surprise you. Please join me.
Also, please sign up for my blog posts which will inform you as to where I am teaching or showing my art, There is a free gift available when you do, because I appreciate you. Enjoy these shorter days working on your writing, dreaming, resting, creating–and getting out in the snow–hopefully!
