A GATHERING OF WOMEN’S VOICES

SATURDAY at 4PM, at The Firehouse Arts & Events Center in Fairhaven, WILDHAVEN WRITERS PRESENTS

“A GATHERING OF WOMEN’S VOICES.”

We will read new and old pieces from Women’s Bodies, Women’s Words and The Mildreds, an amazing musical group, will entertain us between readings and speakers. Our Guest Speakers: Alicia Rule and Lucia Pearson, will educate us as to current Women’s Rights happenings. It will be a fun filled evening. Books are for sale and donations are accepted, $10 suggested, a portion donated to Planned Parenthood. Please join us!

There is so many ads on line asking for donations and saying this or that could happen. I think hearing from Alicia and Lucia will be enlightening. We hope you all can come out and join us for this great event.

Local author, Nancy Canyon works as a writing coach for The Narrative Project and teaches through Chuckanut Writers.  She holds the MFA from Pacific Lutheran University. Her books include Saltwater, Celia’s Heaven, Women’s Bodies, Women’s Words, and STRUCK: A Season on a Fire Lookout. She lives in Bellingham, Washington with her artist husband, Ron and their dog, Lucy.
